The 36th annual street fair takes over Chicago's Boystown with 40 performers, 5 stages and plenty of alcohol to go around.

The gayest weekend in the American Midwest returns to Chicago August 12-13, 2017. Mark your calendars: the Northalsted Market Days will yet again take over the Windy City’s Boystown for an outrageous weekend of fun. With over 40 performers, vendors, arts, crafts, and plenty of alcohol to go around, Market Days 2017 is sure to be a party everyone is going to remember.

Celebrating its 36th anniversary, Northalsted Market Days has become a summertime staple of every gay boy’s season as the not-to-be-missed event of the summer. For only a $10 suggested donation, revelers are welcome to enjoy over 40 DJs, performers, and artist from around the world while wining, dining, and enjoying art and a multitude of vendors under the sun and stars.

The weekend kicks off on Saturday August 12, packed with A-list entertainment. Prince Poppycock, Inaya Day, Linda Clifford, and Jody Watley will be featured on the North Stage. On the Dance Stage, DJs Laura B, Cindel, and Nina Flowers will be spinning sickening beats before and after the Market Days Drag Show from 5:30-7:30pm. The Celebrate Equality Stage will be delivering a slapdown of fab entertainers including the one and only Tiffany, Steve Grand, Brian Justin Crum, Robin S, and Maxine Nightingale. The Jazz Stage will see Joe Poliscastro Trio, Whiskey and Cherries, and BMR4 perform. Hosted by DJ Lech, Saturday’s lineup at the South Stage will be KC Ortiz, Michael McBride and Friends, Wedding Band, and Satisfaction.

Sunday is just as delicious full of extraordinary entertainment. On the North Stage, DJ Jorge G and Laura B will host as Big Freedia, Rod Tuffcurls, and Purple Xperience will take the stage. On the Dance Stage, Laura B will spin, followed by the Markey Days Drag Show from 1-3pm. Alex Acosta and Ralphi Rosario will wrap up the set at Hydrate. The Celebrate Equality Stage will open with a performance by the Chicago Gay Men’s Chorus. Don’t Speak, JC Brooks, 10,000 Maniacs, and 16 Candles will also take the stage. The Jazz Stage will have The Winchester Sound, The Flat Cats, and Branden& James perform. At the South Stage, Girl Power Night, Cece Peniston, Frenchie Davis, Boy Band Review, and Catfight will ignite the stage.

The 36th annual Northalsted Market Days is set to be a fabulous time. Amazing vendors, arts, crafts, and enough food to fulfill any culinary aficionado’s palate, the Northalsted Market Days will be a weekend of a lifetime as the largest outdoor street fair in the Midwest.
