As the world’s biggest annual bartending competition or the LGBTQ community, the Stoli Key West Cocktail Classic is throttling towards bigger, better, faster, more!
Are you an LGBTQ bartender with a penchant for creating perfect Stoli cocktails that are good to the last drop? Can you mix as well as you mingle? Being a professional is not necessary. What is necessary is the ability to serve it up, and show it out!
In a continuing partnership with the Key West Business Guild, the Stoli Key West Cocktail Classic is not only about presenting talented bartenders that exude personality, but also about crafting an immaculate Stoli cocktail!
The event honors the legacy of gay bars as safe places and community hubs for our community and also for nightlife professional that continue to Raise the Bar and status of the LGBTQ contingent.
Professional mixologists from some of the community’s most well known entertainment venues in the LGBTQ realm are invited to demonstrate their skills, and compete for an opportunity to win an all-expense paid trip to the Key West Pride from June 5-11, 2018.
Cities included this year include: Dallas, New Orleans, San Diego, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Fort Lauderdale, Chicago, Vancouver, Ohio, D.C., Toronto, Boston, New York City, and San Francisco.
The mixologist with the mostest will win the title of Stoli Key West Cocktail Classic champion, and also be crowned as the Honorary Grand Marshall of the 2018 Key West Pride, receive a victory party at his/her home bar, a big trophy, gorgeous sash, and a trip for 2 to San Diego or Vancouver Pride. Plus, a portion of $20,000 will be donated to your favorite local charity.
How to Enter
If you think you have what it takes to be this year’s champion, apply online, check out the rules, tour schedule, and full information online, or contact your local city representative from Stoli Group. A maximum of 6 bartenders will be selected to compete in the main event in each city. A minimum of one competing bartender will be selected from each city based on qualified applicants. All contestants must be 21+ to compete in the United States; 19+ in Canada.
