Gemini nominated TV Host of Style By Jury, 41 year-old Bruce Turner has come out of the closet with his rock-hard abs, charming good looks and out-going personality as the official spokesperson and model for Canada’s newest designer underwear company, Naked Boxer Brief.
“Ironically, I never used to wear underwear,” said Bruce. “Back in the 80’s, when Jordache jeans were in style, I would go comando. I just didn’t like to wear underwear.”
Then, in the summer of 2010 Bruce met Naked Boxer Brief co-founder Joel Primus over dinner. Joel explained how Naked were different that any other underwear on the market because of the material they were made from and how they have a ‘seamless’ design. The Vancouver designed and assembled underwear are made with Italian knit microfiber fabric and feature no seams or tags.
“It’s like you’re wearing nothing at all,” said Joel Primus.
During the dinner Bruce excused himself from the table and took a pair of the Naked Boxer Briefs to the washroom to try on.
“I fell in love with them and I’ve been wearing them every day since,” said Bruce. “They aren’t your average pair of underwear.”
Bruce decided to join Naked Boxer Brief as an advisor and spokesperson because he truly believed in the product and because of Joel’s philanthropic beliefs. Bruce also believes strongly in giving back and is inspired by the company.
Long-term, Bruce admits that he personally stands to gain from his work with Naked Boxer Brief.
“It’s pretty flattering to be an underwear model at 41 years old,” said Bruce. “It’s nice to be able to show it off,” referring to his tight body and six-pack abs.
While Bruce continues to work on his career in television, he is keeps himself on the radar working with Naked Boxer Brief.
