“I have mixed feelings with it,” explains gay porn star, Dominic Pacifico. “The original gay porn was bareback. Now we have different AIDS foundations that frown upon it.”
In recent years both porn stars and porn studios have made great strides by making decisions by requiring the use of condoms. In fact, some porn studios won’t hire a model if they have bareback sex on film or in their personal life, meaning some models can’t get hired unless they agree to change their behavior.
“I don’t do it and I don’t recommend other people to do it,” said Dominic, who believes that bareback sex in porn sets a wrong example for people who have multiple sex partners. This point rings true because many people see porn stars as their icons or leaders, and what monkey see, money do.
“In my personal life I use condoms and on set I use condoms,” stated Dominic. The gay porn star did admit that there are circumstances in his personal like which he does not use condoms. “My long term partner or boyfriend, obviously we don’t. We get tested together.”
“Condoms are sexy,” said Dominic, who would like people to change their perception of the use of condoms and to remember the reasons why they were invented – to keep you safe and healthy.
