It’s getting deep into the heart of winter and it’s no surprise that in some parts of Canada and the United States are already tired of winter and ready for a tropical vacation. In Mexico, the Paloma cocktail is a popular choice. Made with blanco tequila and grapefruit, it’s a refreshing beach drink. While it can be made with a grapefruit pop, it’s better made with fresh squeezed grapefruit juice and a splash of club soda.
- 1.5 oz Tequila
- 2.5 oz Grapefruit Juice
- 2.5 oz Club Soda
Combine all ingredients into a shaker half filled with ice. Shake for 10 seconds. Strain into a salt-rimmed martini glass. Garnish with a wedge of lime.
