In keeping the theme of vegetable-based cocktails, like last weeks beat-bursting Spring in NYC Cocktail, this weeks Avocado Margarita uses fresh avocado to naturally cool the zing that comes from the bursting flavour of tequila. It’s a unique, unexpected, and refreshing cocktail, particularly fitting for those looking to add some healthy ingredients to their spring cocktails!
Not only is this a fantastic spring cocktail, but this weekend is the Vancouver International Tequila Expo… perfect timing, right?
- 1 cup of ice
- 3 oz Tequila
- 2 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 1 ½ oz Triple Sec
- ½ Ripe Avocado
Place the ice, tequila, lime juice, avocado and triple sec into a blender. Puree. Pour into martini glass.
