2014 CONTACT Winter Music Festival

CONTACT is Western Canada’s largest indoor music festivals, and it’s returning this December 26 and 27 to BC Place in downtown Vancouver with some of the biggest names in electronic music!

Headliners for CONTACT 2014 include Armin van Buuren (December 26), and Zedd (December 27), two internationally acclaimed performers who are sought around the world. Other performers include W&W, Showtek, Nervo, Gramatik, Griz, Morgan Page, Kaytranada, TJR, DVBBS, What So Not, Thomas Jack, Lunice & more.

Event organizers continue to push the boundaries and expectations to grow the electronic music scene in Western Canada and the Pacific North West. The full roster of coveted DJs and performers will span across two stages, including a tented, outdoor stage, which will allow the festival to expand and include a more diverse program of music.

“It’s clear that electronic music is in huge demand in Vancouver, and the overwhelming success and support of CONTACT has allowed us to continue to take steps to make it bigger, and better each year – to where it’s now being recognized within the electronic industry as a top event that DJs are vying to be a part of. We’re so thankful to be able to bring this level of talent to our city, and we can’t wait to close out 2014 in style with our most legendary dance party yet,” said Alvaro Prol of Blueprint, the co-producers of the event.

“It’s been amazing to watch the organic growth of electronic dance music in BC. We’re thrilled to be in it year round with our partners at Blueprint, who are widely recognized as leaders in the genre,” said Erik Hoffman, SVP of Talent at Live Nation Canada. “CONTACT is our annual flagship event and as it enters its third year, we feel fans will be absolutely blown away by the line-up, the experience, and the spectacle we’re going to stage. ”

The event is open to all ages and will have a VIP area for attendees 19 and older with valid ID. Doors will open at 5:00pm each day, and performances will run until midnight.

Two-day festival tickets start at $125, and go on sale on Wednesday, October 1 at 10:00am for AMEX cardholders. Public festival passes go on sale Friday, October 3 at 11:00am. VIP festival passes will also be available at $250 for a two-day pass. Single day tickets and line-up will be announced closer to the show dates.
