Beauty and the Beast the Musical

Broadway Across Canada is pleased to present Beauty and the Beast the Broadway musical, returning to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre February 3-8, 2015. It’s one of the most romantic Broadway musicals for all generations featuring the classic music from the love story, filled with the unfortgettable characters, lavish costumes, and the beloved song, Be Our Guest.

The musical follows the classic tale of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, a young prince who is trapped in a spell place by an enchantress. The Beast needs to learn to love, and be loved, in order to break the spell. There is only a limited time, for if the Beast doesn’t learn his lesson soon, he and his entire household will be doomed for eternity.

The original creators of the Broadway production came together for the touring show. The musical is based on the 1991 animated feature classic and is celebrating 20 years since it’s Broadway debut in 1994. The production launched in February 2010 and has since been seen by 2.5 million people, playing over 1,000 performances in all 50 United States and six Canadian provinces.

The musical features the Academy Award-winning music by Alan Menken and lycrics by Howard Ashman. New, original scores for the musical have been composed by Alan Menken with lyrics by Tim Rice.

Tickets for Beauty and the Beast the musical will go on sale on Saturday, November 15 at 10:00am through Ticket Master. Tickets start at $35.
