Spring is in full swing. That means that the flowers are starting to bloom, the leaves are coming out on the trees, the grass is lush green, the birds are chirping, and the sun is warming up. We’ve been waiting for months for this time of year… patio season!
Instead of having to choose between cocktails or wine, the White Wine Mojito is an awesome alternative to the classic mojito, but instead of being made with rum, it’s made with white wine. In the off chance you happen to have some leftover wine from the night before (yeah, like that ever happens!), you can use it up in a wine cocktail. When mixed with other ingredients it takes on a whole new vibe. One you will love.
Go on. Give it a try. This is one of the easiest cocktails to make and it tastes incredible! It’s also a great cocktail if you’re hosting a theme event, like a White Party.
- 4 oz White Wine
- 10 Fresh Mint Leaves
- 2 oz Simple Syrup
- 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
In the bottom of a shaker, muddle mint leaves. Add a cup of ice and the rest of the ingredients. Shake for 20 seconds. Pour into a white wine glass and garnish with a fresh sprig of mint.
