DJ’s are an essential cornerstone of the gay community. Clubs, events, and parties would be silent without their amazing skills of mixing music to keep the party going. DJ’s really are the foundation of every great party. The biggest lineups of world-class DJ’s this season will be at Matinee Las Vegas. The hottest party in the desert is returning with an even hotter selection of disc jockeys. Matinee Las Vegas is back and presenting the hottest line up of 15 DJs from around the globe. Here’s the must-see, hear, and experience line-up:
Casey Alva: Casey Alva is one of Atlantis Events’ resident DJs and has performed sets at. White Party Palm Springs, Sydney Mardi Gras, Sundance Film Festival, Telluride Gay Ski Week, Elevation Gay Ski Weeks (Mammoth and Park City), 1LIFE Festival, etc. Alva is a resident DJ in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Las Vegas, and he currently lives in Los Angeles.
Cindel: Cindel is a Chicago-based DJ that has performed sets all over North America and Europe. He was the winner of Matinee Las Vegas 2013 and Circuit Barcelona 2013. House music is his forte.
Corey Craig: Known for his sets and podcasts dubbed “Coreyography”, Corey Craig isn’t just the DJ on your favorite porn site, Machomoe. He is also a New York DJ that likes to mix progressive electro with house disco.
Dan Slater: Australian-based music producer/DJ Dan Slater lives in Sydney but DJs all over the world. He has produced remixes for Cher, Carmen Elektra, Britney Spears, Paulini, Ultra Nate and Marcia Hines.
Dani Toro: Based in Barcelona, Dani Toro is known for his unique sounds and haunting sets that leave the club goers wanting more. He is a resident DJ of Barcelona Pride and XLSIOR in Mykonos.
Dawna Montell: Laguna Beach, California native Dawna Montell has residency at the Abbey in West Hollywood, California. She has DJed festivals and events all over the west coast.
Ivan Gomez: A DJ for 14 years, Ivan Gomez is a Spanish DJ from Barcelona that achieved number 1 on the billboard charts in 2011 with the remix to Yoko Ono’s Move on Fast. In 2010, he created his own label Guareber Recordings.
Kitty Glitter: DJ Kitty Glitter is a drag superstar DJ residing from Sydney, Australia. Kitty has been DJing for 10 years at festivals like White Party Palm Springs, Toronto, New York, and Montreal Pride, Sydney Mardi Gras, and Matinee Las Vegas.
Lydia Sanz: Lydia Sanz is a Spanish-born DJ known known for her extensive remixes. She is a resident matinee DJ and some of her hits include: Can We Save Our Love, My World, and Freaking Out of Love.
Nacho Chapado: Barcelona DJ Nacho Chapado has been doing remixes 2004 and has been producing his own music since 1999. A progressive house DJ, Chapado has done remixes with Offer Nissum, Pet Shop Boys, Akon, etc.
Nina Flowers: Puerto Rican Drag superstar Nina Flowers has been DJing since 1993. Her stint on RuPaul’s Drag Race gained her international fame, and her single Loca reached number 15 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play. She continues to DJ within the US and overseas.
DJ Paulo: Audiences travel the world to hear sets from Portugal-born, Los Angeles-based DJ Paulo. He has performed sold out DJ sets all over the world and has reached #1 on Soundcloud and Billboard with official remixes for Justin Bieber, Christina Aguilera, Lady Gaga, Cher, Beyoncé, Kelly Clarkson, etc.
Paulo Pacheco: A well-known house music DJ, Paulo Pacheco is from Brazil and is the resident DJ at Babylon in Sao Paulo. A DJ with 15 year’s experience, Pacheco has stunned club goers from Ibiza to Cartagena.
Phil Romano: Born in Rome, found his music scene in Melbourne, Australia, lived in Los Angeles in the early 2000s and is now a resident DJ in Milan, Phil Romano has been on the scene since 2002. Some of his most famous remixes include Kylie Minogue’s Timebomb and George Michael’s White Light.
Taito Tigaro: Tigaro has been spinning for over 10 years, and is a resident DJ with the Matinee group. He is famous for his sliding between deep house, electro, techno, and progressive –house. Taito Tigaro has DJed sets on 6 continents.
