A simple twist on the common cocktail with a very similar name, the Hot Roddy incorporates the flavor of clove in with honey and lemon juice, giving it a simple, yet satisfyingly warm and earthy taste. The Hot Roddy: a new warming autumn spin on a classic signature drink.
What you’ll need:
- 1 ½ oz whisky
- 1/3 oz honey syrup
- 3 oz hot water
- 3 dried cloves
- ½ oz fresh lemon juice
Add all ingredients into a mug. Stir. Remove cloves, then garnish with a slice of lemon and cinnamon stick.
