Ring in the New YearIn just two short days, 2017 will be gone forever and we will be ushering a new year. Happy New Year! Ring in the holiday right by hosting a fabulous NYE party at your pad, featuring the cocktail of the night: The Ring in the New Year. Remember: any good party only needs three things: lights, music, and alcohol. So, grab the sparkling wine or champagne, mix with a splash of blackberry simple syrup, and you’ve got one of the three most important Hosting a Fabulous New Year’s Eve Party necessities already. Ring in the New Year this year with this deliciously decadent drink: The Ring in the New Year.

  • Sparkling wine
  • 4 tbsp blackberry simple syrup

Add blackberry simple syrup into a champagne flute rimmed with brown sugar. Top with sparkling wine. Garnish with sprig of rosemary and a fresh blackberry.

Blackberry simple syrup:

In a small saucepan, combine equal parts of blackberries, sugar, and water. Bring to boil on high heat. Reduce to simmer and let cook for 15 minutes. Strain into a sterilized glass jar and let cool. Keep up to three days in the refrigerator.
