The 47th annual Southern Decadence is a big, fabulous, hurricane mess that is about to hit The Big Easy. What began as an over-the-top, extravagant party and theme amongst friends has blossomed over nearly 50 years into the Crescent City’ second biggest festival after Mardi Gras. The official hosts for the weekend will be grand marshal Aubrey Synclaire and Sarina Styles. The entire French Quarter becomes one big wild street party. Deborah Cox, Jennifer Holiday, and Jeanie Tracy are all set to perform at this year’s Southern Decadence.
