Sin is in, darlings, as gay pride comes to Sin City for another weekend of rainbow fun! Las Vegas will open its pink doors for to masses as they descend upon Nevada’s largest LGBT gathering. With more events, more fun, more star appearances, and more people expected to attend than ever before, this year’s Las Vegas Pride is going to be one to place all your bets on.
Kicking off the weekend will be a fantastic event everyone will want tickets for: RuPaul’s Drag Race winner and drag queen superstar Bianca Del Río will be bringing her sold out internationally touring show Blame it On Bianca Del Rio to the Zumanity Theater at the New York-New York Las Vegas Hotel and Casino on Thursday, October 18. With opening host and a performance by Edie, mistress of sensuality at Zumanity by Cirque du Soleil, Blame it on Bianca del Rio is a side splitting show full of jabs, put downs, one liners, and Bianca del Rios usual brand of hilarity. Get your tickets soon as they won’t last.
Friday, October 19 kicks of the 35 Pride festival for Las Vegas with the theme All We Need is Love. Unlike most other Pride festivals that hold their signature parades on the Sunday morning of Pride weekend, Vegas does it with glitter, lights, and glamor as they host the 21st annual Pride Night Parade. There will be a pre-party at the corner of 4th street and Bridger Ave hosted by Las Vegas Pride, perfect for viewing a parade that brings light, glitter, effects, and a spectacular array of gayness to old Las Vegas.
Two official pride parade after parties will have visitors dancing and partying the night away as only Vegas can do. The official official after pride parade will be at the Eclipse Theatre. There will be food, bars, a virtual reality room, party rooms, go go boys, and more! At the Orleans Arena also following the parade, there will be another after party called Glampyres. Hosted by drag race star Morgan McMichaels, Glampyres will be headlined by The Real Housewives Star and pop diva Erika Jayne. Nina Sky, Chris Cox, and DJ CO1 will be performing throughout the night.
Saturday, the Cosmopolitan will play host to Pride After Show. This fiesta will feature performances by Superfruit, legendary pop star Betty Who, and Goldboot. The Las Vegas Pride Main Event will be later Saturday night. Action Adrenaline is the name of the event, and it’s going to be a popping party. Drag race star and gay global DJ Nina Flowers will be spinning the jams all night long.
Finally, Las Vegas will close out Pride weekend with the official closing party: Nightrider. Held at the Voodoo Lounge at the Rio Hotel and Casino, Nightrider as hosted by Velvet Tsunami, will feature DJ sets by Grammy nominee Abel, Dan Deleon, and Anthony Griego. Dance the night away and close another Las Vegas Pride weekend chapter by attending this killer party.
Need a place to stay? Don’t gamble by booking into anywhere else but the best! Book at two of the most gay friend hotels in Las Vegas – the Luxor Resort & Casino or the New York New York Las Vegas Hotel Resort & Casino.
