Mulled WineLadies and gays: The Holidays are officially upon us. With less than 25 days left until Jesus’ Day, it’s that time of year again to celebrate life, love, family, and friendships. What better way to take in the merriment of the Christmas season than having your loved ones over for a little Kiki with some fabulous Mulled Wine?

Like the Xmas Sangria, Mulled Wine is made by adding an assortment of yummy ingredients to a pot of heated red wine. Flavors like clove, honey, orange, and apple inundate the wine with an aromatic and awesome new flavor. Served warm, Mulled Wine is the perfect winter time cocktail to start off the holiday season with a bang. All you need to do now is throw a party: The Mulled Wine cocktail will certainly be a hit! 

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 bottle cabernet sauvignon
  • ¼ cup brandy
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup fresh squeezed orange juice
  • Dash orange zest
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • ½ tsp allspice
  • 1 tsp whole cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 whole start anise

Add all ingredients in a large pot. Heat on low for 30 minutes. Serve in punch glasses. Garnish with whole star anise, cinnamon stick, and orange peel.
