In a time of uncertainty, it’s nice to take in some art and entertainment that warms the spirit and rekindles your faith in humanity. It’s not every day when there is a piece of entertainment so moving and endearing that truly embraces the human experience. Broadway’s smash hit Come From Away is a show that will take your breath away, and the musical is touring Canada as part of Broadway Across Canada’s 2019 season.
Come From Away is the story of 7000 international flight passengers stranded together in a small town in Newfoundland in the days immediately following the September 11th terrorist attacks on the United States, and the local Canadians who took them into their community. Despite all their differences, these people from all over the world were able to survive thanks to the help of strangers. Come From Away is a moving musical about hope, survival, love, and enduring friendships.
