Soon, the final season of Game of Thrones will have debuted and concluded, and the homos will no longer have all that beef cake to stare at. But, have no fear queens: there is a delicious line up of queer or queer-friendly shows just waiting for you to enjoy. Check out these great shows for your daily dose of gay in 2019:

Special. EVERYONE is talking about the upcoming show Special on Netflix. Created by and starring Ryan O’Connell, Specialis about a closeted gay man living with cerebral palsy. Produced by The Big Bang Theory and Hidden Figure’s Jim Parsons, Specialis most likely going to be the gay radar when it comes out in April.

Queer Eye. Yaaaas hennys: the Fab Five are back and better than ever. This time, Karamo, Bobby, JVN, Tan, and hottie Antoni head to the heart of the American Midwest: Kansas City. They make over everyone from grieving widows to strong, black, magical lesbians. Grab those tissues and get ready for laughs, tears, and some personal introspection as season 3 of Queer Eye is currently streaming on Netflix.

Queer Eye is the gay TV show that needed a makeover

Schitt’s Creek. Honey, the entire internet let out a massive “NOOOOOO!!!!!” upon hearing that the Rose family and their shenanigans would be renewed for a sixth and final season. EW DAVID IS RIGHT! That means you can take in as much of the Rose’s antics, but only for now.

Now Apocalypse. It’s the end of the world as we know it, REM, and a group of rag tag Los Angelenos have banned together to survive it all. A gay romance is central to the plot of this farcical show from Starz.

The Umbrella Academy.What is it with Netflix having all the good shows? Starring our fearless out gay leading actress Ellen, The Umbrella Academyis about a group of disbanded superheroes who come together, once again, to save the world. There is a gay romance throughout the first season.

Killing Eve. Lesbian Eve is a bored, desk-bound MI5 agent, until she receives the opportunity to hunt and capture the alluring assassin Villanelle. A cat and mouse game endures, and season two of this highly anticipated program starring Sandra Oh returns in April.

Roswell. Who would have thought that bringing back a 90’s show would be so controversial? Apparently, there are no holds barred with the new incarnation of everyone’s favorite UFO show: Roswell.Immigration, gay love, aliens, and a whole lot of controversy will be running rampant through the new Roswell.

High Maintenance.The third season of HBO’s acclaimed series is available for streaming now. While the concept of a marijuana dealer pushing his product on bicycle to his clients in Manhattan mightn’t seem too gay, there are a few gay characters in High Maintenance. Season three will feature appearances by Margaret Chow, Guillermo Diaz, and Orange is the New Black’s Annie Golden.

Elite. Aforeign show in subtitles is hard to watch for some people. But, if you haven’t tuned into the Spanish show Elite, you are truly missing out. Like a Cruel Intentions set in 2019, Elite is about three impoverished high schoolers who get sent to an upscale, elite private school. Season 1 was highly acclaimed, dealing with HIV and AIDS, classism, Islamophobia, sexuality, polyamory, and the show’s fictitious gay couple have a massive following on social media. The sexy as hell stars are enough to get you hooked on Elite.
