It’s high time to raise your glass (you too, Amy Schumer and P!nk) for a company that has proven time and time again to be a stalwart ally of the LGBT community. Proving yet again how dedicated they are to queer rights and gay people, Stolichnaya Vodka has released a new collector’s item into their entourage of special bottles. Stoli’s new Spirit of Stonewall rainbow vodka bottle is a limited edition, available in the United States, commemorating the LGBT rights movement and their commitment to our community.

Stolichnaya has a long history of standing by the LGBT community. A long-standing partner of the HomoCulture, Stoli’s 26 years of supporting the queer community highlight their commitment to gay people everywhere.

Last year, Stoli released a Harvey Milk tribute bottle to commemorate their 25th year supporting gay rights. This year, the “Spirit of Stonewall” has been released to celebrate 50 years of LGBT rights and honor the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising—what has been commonly attributed as the starting point of the modern gay rights movement.

“Pride is all about sticking up for something you believe in – just as the brave patrons of the Stonewall Inn did 50 years ago – that all good people deserve to love freely and stand proudly in the bright spotlight of the beauty of their diversity without the expectation that one needs to hide in the shadows, or in the closet,” said Patrik Gallineaux, Stolichnaya LGBTQ National Brand Manager and Ambassador. “Stoli celebrates the legacy of our gay bars, such as Stonewall, as the original community centers and safe spaces. It is a privilege to utilize our bottle as a platform for purposeful visibility and education via our second LGBTQ tribute bottle, the Stoli ‘Spirit of Stonewall’ limited edition.”

You betta were, Stoli, and bring about that change through activism. Stolichnaya has been around since 1938, wetting the whistles of gays and straights for 81 years. The Spirit of Stonewall limited edition bottle helps raise funds for the Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative, an organization whose mission it is to eliminate the social intolerances of 2019 that profoundly impact the lives of LGBTQ people in the United States and overseas, through education and awareness.

Stolichnaya’s new, limited edition Spirit of Stonewall Vodka Bottle

The Spirit of Stonewall limited edition Stoli vodka bottle was created by award-winning, queer, visual artist Lisa Marie Thalhammer. She designed a gorgeous scene with iconic LGBT images. Protest signs and five hands outside of the Stonewall Inn, a protesting fist carrying a rainbow ribbon, a sign reading “LIBERATION”, a peace sign, and a high heel to commemorate the transgender and drag queen activists who initiated the riots can all be seen on Thalhammer’s glorious design.

As you celebrate at World Pride, Stonewall 50, and Pride Festival 2019 in New York City this June, celebrate with Stoli! HomoCulture readers who are attending these fabulous celebration events can also take advantage of fantastic special offers from Marriott
