The Pride Festival 2019 experience was, for many, something you just cannot stop thinking about. The love, the music, the incredible talent, and the plethora of queerness kept everyone dancing and filled with joy in New York City during WorldPride and Stonewall50. With non-stop events all weekend long, Pride Festival 2019 was the best way to experience the historical anniversary of the birth of the modern LGBT equality movement.

Pride Festival 2019 got the weekend lit with the Thursday kick-off GPS Party June 27th at Stage 48. DJ’s Anne Louise and Joe Pacheco spun incredible sets and the world-famous GPS party kicked Pride weekend off the right way. More photos from GPS.

Dark, dirty, and debauchery best describe MEAT XXL! The big opening party, MEAT XXL from at 99 Scott saw celeb DJ’s Nina Flowers, Cindel, and Leomeo keeping the city that never sleeps dancing its ass off until 6:00 Saturday morning. There was an indoor dance hall, an outdoor dance space, and a darkroom playroom in the basement. More photos from MEAT Party.

Pride Festival 2019 had two Saturday parties to wet your Pride weekend appetite. The annual infamous TeaDance at Pier 17 is the world’s biggest rooftop party, and the gays were out in full force. Featuring music by sexy DJ’s Dan Slater, Phil Romano, and Ava Max, the TeaDance came complete with a featured performance by drag queen gender bending legend Conchita Wurst.

The Main Event Saturday was at the Javits Center. The WE Party and Pride Festival 2019 joined forces to produce Magic Planet: a gay nightlife extravaganza! The incredible night set a new record in the United States, and with over 15,000 attendees, it became the largest gay night club event in US history! There was so much to see, do, and experience! Selfie-stations, massive quick-serve bars, gourmet food trucks, casual lounges, and activity centers were located throughout the gigantic space. Spanning almost the entire width of the venue were three giant digital screens that could be seen from any vantage point in the room, set above the elevated stage, which would host incredible DJ’s, performances and artists throughout the night. It was a non-stop parade of star-studded appearances by Bette Midler, Cindy Lauper, Billy Porter, STOMP!, Conchita Wurst, Brandon Pereyda from Cirque du Soleil’s Zumanity, Chris Grant, Brandy, and Amanda Lepore! WE Party brought the LGBT community for a night of celebration, hope, and to re-ignite the spirit of the community. More photos from WE Party.

The best way to see New York City during Pride is on the Luv Boat. This fun and sexy booze cruise around Manhattan with a boat-load of gays was a fun time and fab way to watch the sunset go down over Manhattan, which included amazing views of the Empire State Building and One World lit up in rainbow colours, and an amazing fireworks show. DJ Danny Verde spun tunes for the 5-hour cruise.

The closing party, Xlsior Mykonos Midas Touch New York City, was one of the best closing parties in herstory! This Greek Isle-themed soiree of a closing party at stage 48 featured amazing tunes from DJs Aron, Ben Bakson, and Beth Sack. The costumes were on point, the men were hot, and Xlsior Mykonos Midas Touch New York City was the party of the year! More photos from Xlsior Mykonos Party.

Happy Pride and thanks to Pride Festival 2019, the legendary Jake Resnicow for producing such an incredible weekend filled with events, organizers for their dedication for high-impact experiences, and attendees for creating an enchanting experience.
