Vancouver Pride is coming up, and it’s time to plan your weekend right, packing it with all the fun things to do in British Columbia’s biggest city. One event that is standing out, Parq Vancouver’s second annual Pride rooftop party. Kick off Vancouver’s 2019 Pride weekend with Parq Vancouver’s second annual Pride at Parq featuring RuPaul’s Drag Race stars Kim Chi, Asia, Kameron, and Season 10 winner, Aquaria.

On Friday, August 2, 2019, the queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race will put on fierce performances on the resort’s alluring rooftop park. Guests will be able to enjoy sunset views of False Creek, Stoli cocktails, and bites from D/6 Bar & Lounge, and music spun by the house DJ while dancing the night away on the city’s most unique dance floor, a 30,000 square-foot rooftop park, making it Pride’s most exclusive dance floor!

The Parq Vancouver hotel is brand new—having opened its doors less than two years ago. Just a hop, skip, and a jump from the Davie Street village, in Yaletown, Pride at Parq is the event to be at if you are a RuPaul’s Drag Race fan. This party has four RPDR queens, the most of any other event being held over Vancouver Pride weekend.

Kim Chi was a season 8 contestant on RPDR. The first Korean-American participant on the show, Kim Chi was also the first Korean American drag queen featured on American TV and finished in the top 3.

Asia O’Hara was the fourth-place finisher on RPDR season 10. A fan favorite, Asia is probably best known for her live butterfly finish at the season finale of season 10.

Kameron Michaels, also known as the Body Builder Barbie, is another season 10 contestant that stood out from the rest. Kameron finished as runner up.

Season 10 winner, Aquaria, became the first contestant in Drag Race herstory to win both the Snatch Game and the Ball. She is also the first drag queen to attend and walk the red carpet at the 2019 Met Gala and is a face of the new MAC Cosmetics Viva Glam campaign.

Long time LGBT ally and HomoCulture bestie, Stolichnaya Vodka, will be service up signature drinks from the powerhouse Haus of Stoli. Patrik Gallineaux, the global LGBT brand ambassador from Stoli will be there, too, to ensure everyone is enjoying the best Pride with the best Stoli cocktails.

Limited edition creations designed specifically for Pride at Parq will be available for indulgence, including Parq’s “Pride Cake¨ back by popular demand. With DJ-spun beats, you’ll be able to indulge in some fine Stoli cocktails while dancing the night away on the city’s most unique dance floor.

I’d love to see Kim Chi the most. She cut deep at the stereotypes that affect our community. One pound over weight you are fat, gender not quite super masc then you are fem, and of course the racism. She created a dialogue that still needs to be pushed forward. Not only that but her style is fierce, and I love her sense of humour. One of the best drag queens ever in RPDR

This line up of queens is epic! I would love to to meet even just one of them let alone all 4 at this star studded event! Kim chi especially! Her style is so inspiring!
