You are not alone! Vancouver is waving through the window at another extremely successful Broadway Across Canada touring production finishes its British Columbia leg. Vancouver’s run of Dear Evan Hanson was a triumphant theatrical moment celebrated by Canadians at the Queen Elizabeth Theater.

2018’s Grammy for best Musical Dear Evan Hanson will be returned to venues across Canada for the 2019/2020 season, and the smash hit show just concluded an extraordinary stay in British Columbia.

A lie and letter never meant to be seen catapult shy high school student and loner Evan Hanson into the spotlight and the throngs of new found attention. Now he has to deal with the repercussions from his actions while trying not to be forced back into the shadows of solitude by his peers in the show that has won the Audience Critics Award three years running.

Dear Evan Hanson won the Tony for Best Musical and five other Tony Awards. The original Broadway Cast Recording won the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, with the music, book and lyrics by Justin Paul, Steven Levenson, and Benj Pasek, respectively.
