In less than 72 hours, the internet cancelled a porn star.

With lots of free time at their disposal while under quarantine, the internet came alive and flung porn actor Billy Santoro quickly into a ditch of despair this past week. It all went down in a blaze of glory fit for a bad episode of trashy television that would make even Ryan Murphy cringe.

In an imperfect storm that had gay men clutching at their face masks, Billy Santoro had his gay card revoked, rescinded, and flung far and wide as the receipts from his racist antics finally caught up with him in ways that he may never recover from.

Anyone looking for him now may have to actually go outside and risk the ‘Rona as Santoro has been snatched and deleted from adult sites and social media following his comments on black protesters and the Black Lives Matter movement.

The drama began with a Facebook post and a tweet…

Almost as soon as Santoro hit the ‘send’ button, social media rained virtual grenades on the porn star, who then declared via Twitter that the “blacks will just breed more hatred towards them” by damaging property during protests. He even went further, calling on police to shoot unarmed black people. Still undeterred, Santoro soldiered on with the narrative, tweeting:

“This is my platform to communicate how I see fit. If you don’t like it, I honestly don’t give a s**t. The reason I have the following I do is because I am real. I am a b**ch to people who are b***hy. And sweet to those who aren’t. I don’t filter my thoughts and never will.”

Next, Billy Santoro’s followers started dropping like flies…

In the aftermath of George Floyd’s death at the hands of the police, Santoro’s fanbase went from large to minuscule in quick fashion. And as his followers began to rapidly dwindle and disappear, the adult star attempted to apply damage control by deleting his entire Twitter account. Internet sleuths saved screenshots of his comments, however, then took to social media to spread the word and point out Santoro’s extensive history of racism, transphobia, and body shaming. Previously, Santoro made claims that black trans women were being killed only within their own community, and called out former co-stars for not fitting his ideal size requirements.

Within hours of his initial posts, JustForFans swooped down…

The adult site moved in to swiftly condemn Billy Santoro by removing him from their platform, issuing a statement that made it clear their stance:

Putting their money where their mouth is, JustForFans doubled down by adding Black Lives Matter to its Charitable Giving Program and releasing another statement in support:

“JustForFans stands fully behind Black Lives Matter, our models of color, and our entire user base, in wishing this cycle of violence against people of color would end.”

The bad news for Santoro didn’t end there, because…

OnlyFans quickly followed suit, effectively banning Santoro from their site. With the walls closing in on his cash streams, the adult film star then opted to play the pity card in an attempt to salvage his career with a flurry of explanations for his racist posts:

“I lashed out full of emotional stress. Those who know me know I am not racist. I am hurt by the loss of my friend.”

Santoro claimed not to have a Facebook account (which was quickly discovered to be a lie) and to be mourning the loss of a friend killed in looting in Philadelphia, but this news was never confirmed or supported with evidence.

Gage Santoro lost that love REAL quick…

It was clear that the vow of ‘til death do us part’ didn’t mean a lot because Gage exited stage left, and tweeted why:

Next, Santoro’s husband returns to the scene of the crime…

And in what looks like a move to minimize the collateral damage of association, Billy Santoro’s husband, Gage Santoro, disappeared from social media, removing their joint Instagram account in the process. But before he went MIA, he attempted to salvage his husband’s reputation, relationship, and his own bank account by attending the scene in Billy’s hospital room.

But gay Twitter was not having ANY of this madness, with many noting that the scene was staged, pointing out the inconsistencies in the image, and the lack of masks or hospital bracelets worn.

The industry weighs in…

“As a result of Billy’s continued racism, my former boss Dominic Ford did the right thing and removed him from JustFor.Fans,” said Topher Drew, owner, Bottoms Up, former JFF’s Social Media Manager, and current JFF model, in an exclusive interview with HomoCulture. “Since then, Billy has tried faking a suicide for sympathy, threatening to sue JFF, and spreading false information about companies that dropped him. JFF and Fort Troff have both explicitly said they no longer have any involvement with Santoro, and they’ve threatened to sue for defamation if he persists with his lies.”

And that is the ultimate dissection in the breakdown of a porn star.
