Gay men have their roster of traditions over the holidays. Some of these have been handed down from generations, like brunch, while others are inspired by the times.

The good news is, you can start your own Christmas holiday tradition. Anything that inspires you to get in the cheerful holiday spirit. Have mimosa brunches with your gaggle of friends (aka, your bubble of friends for 2020), have a chosen family gift exchange (remember to give something useful, practical, and something you wouldn’t mind getting to),.

You can also try out outdoor group activities such as skating, sledding, skiing, hiking as a group, ice fishing, bonfire in your backyard, camping, etc.

The Holigay Punch cocktail should prepare you for fun outside.

  • 1 cup Stoli Razberi
  • ½ cup orange liqueur
  • 4 cups cranberry juice
  • 4 cups ginger ale
  • 1 cup of frozen berries

Combine all ingredients into a punch bowl filled with ice. Stir. Serve in red-sugar rimmed punch glasses. Garnish with fresh mint.

Enjoy and drink responsibly.
