Holiday traditions are important. However, Christmas 2020 will be different, characterized by what we’ve experienced most of the year – staying at home. Expect more socially distanced events, muted family celebrations with fewer people, and more family members joining virtually.
It’s nowhere near perfect, but change is inevitable. You have to adapt to the new normal and adopt new traditions in line with 2020’s theme.
While you may have traditions like holiday gatherings or traveling home to see family, those may remain untenable this holiday season. Therefore, adapt them to 2020. For example, take a traditional Mule and upscale it for the holiday season; You can do it. Consider FaceTime or Zoom to connect with family and loved ones. Take on Christmas caroling, hand-making Christmas decorations, and treats including cookies, etc.
The Holiday Mule is a reminder that you can do it.
