As far as Christian holidays go, Easter is the big one. The very epitome of Christianity. If Jesus hadn’t resurrected, well, we’d be talking about a whole different situation.

Oh yeah, back to cocktails. Come to think of it, Jesus, the man of the Easter moment, did turn water into wine. That’s as close as we get to “go ye and drink something.” Lucky for you, we have cocktails now, and this week’s drink, the Mint Tulip, well, it’s red and looks like wine thanks to cranberry juice. The perfect drink for the occasion.

This cocktail is easy to make, taking just under 5 minutes to prepare. It’s also refreshing, like lemonade, but for alcohol-drinking adults.

As you start decorating your Easter Egg tree, plant spring flowers, paint some Easter eggs, try some Easter dishes, or relish in the rich Christian traditions, let the Mint Tulip cocktail refresh your body…and soul.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz Stoli Premium
  • 2 oz cranberry juice
  • ½ oz elderflower liqueur
  • ¼ oz lemon juice

Combine all ingredients in a highball glass filled with ice. Stir. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint.
