The 7th Annual Manatomy Awards

With the Academy Awards set for this Sunday, is ready to celebrate the male physique with this year’s Manatomy Awards – the only ceremony in the world that recognizes the nude male achievements throughout the past year in film and television. Known affectionately as ‘the nude Oscars’, is the world’s leading digital library of every male nude scene ever recorded in the history of the small and silver screen. And just like in years prior, the Manatomy Awards is set to honor the fine actors that gave their fans all of them in 2020.

Winners of the 7th Annual Manatomy Awards have been chosen by the editorial staff and marketing teams at Mr. Man. The winners include:

  • Best Picture: The Prince
  • Best TV Show: Industry
  • Best Full Frontal: Tom Mercier, We Are Who We Are
  • Best Nudecomer: Paul Mescal in Normal People
  • Best Butt: Nicholas Hoult in The Great
  • Best Gay Scene: Paapa Essiedu and Samson Ajewole in I May Destroy You
  • Best Gay Makeout: Andrew Rannells and Matt Bomer kissing in The Boys In the Band
  • Best Pool Party: Jim Parsons in Hollywood
  • Best Wet Peach: K.J. Apa in Songbird
  • Lifetime Achievement: Mark Ruffalo

Those are the standard categories from previous years, but in 2021, a few have been added into the mix and include Best Pool Party and Best Wet Peach. According to editor-in-chief at, the Best Wet Peach category was included to the roster to honor actor K.J. Apa for his pitch perfect delivery in a nude scene that has been widely anticipated by his fans and is his debut. According to, the pool party in the scene qualified for special recognition from the Netflix hit show Hollywood

Mark Ruffalo is another performer that is receiving special recognition for his entire body of revealing work, dating back to films like The Kids Are Alright, The Normal Heart, and his full-frontal scene in the acclaimed 2003 film, In The Cut. Daniel Craig was the recipient of last year’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
