Perhaps you’ve heard of an Aperol spritz, but did you know there is a Canadian thanksgiving Spritz? The drink is warming and perfect for this time of year. It has flavors similar to a Christmas punch, full of fresh fruit, honey, and thyme. The thyme in the drink is perfect for helping you fight off autumn sniffles and warming you from the inside out.

  • 8 oz Stoli Premium
  • ½ cup honey
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 1-inch fresh ginger
  • 4 oz elderflower liquor
  • 1/3 cup fresh grapefruit juice
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice
  • Ginger beer

In a medium pot, bring ½ cup water, honey, cranberries, thyme, and ginger to a boil. Boil for five minutes. Let cool. Strain and store in a clean container in the fridge.

In a large, ice filled pitcher, combine cranberry syrup mix, Stoli Premium, elderflower liquor, grapefruit and lime juices. Stir.

Serve in rocks glasses, topped with ginger beer, then garnished with a fresh slice of grapefruit and sprig of thyme.
