With three decades of experience, the organizers have developed a perfect weekend line-up of seven high-impact events catering to sun-seeking gay men who love listening to music, dressing up in elaborate costumes, socializing with new and old friends, and dancing all day and late into the night.

Here’s a look back on all the highlights and moments from White Party Palm Springs 2022!

Welcome to White Party Palm Springs

A steady parade of attendees made their way throughout the day on Friday to the Welcome Center at the Hilton Palm Springs to collect their weekend and individual event passes. There were many familiar faces, reunions, and nervous hellos as the weekend kicked off.

Friday Soaked Pool Party

Friday afternoon also saw the first of the three Soaked pool parties at the Hilton Palm Springs. It was the perfect kickoff event to ease into the weekend. DJ  Orel Sagab (Israel) laid down sweet tracks as people enjoyed casual drinks and caught up with friends at the pool.

Jungle Cruising

As the sun went down, things heated up and turned wild! Friday night at the Palm Springs Convention Center was the Jungle Cruisin event. The amazon was brought to life with creative tropical-rainforest and animal themed costumes. DJ Liza Rodriguez (Brazil) and DJ Dani Brasil (Brazil) spun an epic night of beats for a fierce night of dancing and non-stop jungle-themed performances.

Guided Yoga

Spirits soared and holistic wellbeing was exactly what Saturday morning needed to start the exciting day of activities. Yogi master Francisco Ramos led a group through an energizing warrior yoga session on the east lawn of the Palm Springs Convention Center. Minds and bodies were centered and the spiritual journey was set for the next two action-packed days.

Saturday Soaked Pool Party

The Soaked Saturday pool party was hosted at the Hilton Palm Springs courtyard pool. Over 1,000 people flocked to the pool and pool deck showing off an array of swimwear, including jockstraps, mankinis, thongs, kaftans, and speedos. DJ Isis (Mexico) and DJ Bruno Knauer (Brazil) kept the party moving all afternoon long with a fantastic line-up of non-stop music. Guests were also treated to a fashion show featuring the latest Andrew Christian gear. It was the perfect afternoon to meet, connect, and enjoy the sun.

WP Eternal

Eternal was the theme for the iconic Saturday night White Party at the Palm Springs Convention Center. The spotlights lit up the night sky as guests arrived for the main event. They strutted across the white carpet showing off their elaborate traditional white or superhero themed costumes. It was the place to see and be seen.

The Queen of White Party, Beverly Johnson, a ground-breaking supermodel whose pioneer status as the first African American woman on the cover of Vogue Magazine paved the way for others in the industry, was crowned at a special ceremony following the arrivals.

The dance floor was popping all night long with thousands of attendees dancing to the beats of DJs Rick Braile (Brazil), Chris Turina (Chile), and Phil Romano (Italy). The headline performance of the night was platinum-selling, British singer-songwriter, Raye, who performed an amazing set of songs creating a memorable experience.

The highlight of the night was when Katrina Kay, an Israeli-born choreographer turned circuit diva, performed “Eternal”, a new song she had written exclusively for White Party Palm Springs, to help the party ‘stay on forever’ in memory of WPPS founder, Jeffery Sanker.

Sunday Soaked Pool Party

Sunday early afternoon the pool deck at the Hilton Palm Springs was once again the gathering spot as Soaked pool party returned for its third day in a row. DJ Arno Diem (France), warmed up guests for what would be an action-packed day of thrills and excitement.

Big Top Circus T-Dance

The highly anticipated Big Top Circus T-Dance lived up to all expectations! On Sunday afternoon, over 10,000 guests converged under the desert sky. Hot dancing bodies and cool breezes filled the festival grounds. DJs Ben Bakson (Germany) and Dan Slater (Australia), spin the latest music while partygoers danced, rode the giant ferris wheel, and enjoyed the afternoon.

As the sun set, reigning Eurovision winner and LGBTQ+ advocate, Netta, took to the stage to put on a powerful performance full of colorful innovation and energy.

The night exploded in excitement as two-time platinum-selling, American singer, dancer, choreographer, and television personality, Paula Abdul, hit the stage with an amazing set of jaw-dropping performances.

It was truly spectacular. The event culminated with an emotional and moving fireworks show and video tribute to the founder of White Party, Jeffrey Sanker, who passed away in 2021.

The weekend wrapped up with Afterlife, the Sunday night closing party. DJs Joe Gauthreaux (United States) and Mauro Mozart (Brazil) provided the sonic fuel needed to close out the weekend.

Jeffrey Sanker’s memory will always be in our minds

White Party was founded by LA-based event creator and producer, Jeffrey Sanker. He spent three decades producing gay events around the world, including White Party Palm Springs, New Year’s Eve celebrations in Los Angeles, Miami, Rio de Janiero, One Mighty Party at Gay Day’s Orlando, and White Party Puerto Vallarta.

Sanker revolutionized what it means to be gay and how to celebrate and connect with the gay community. He also played an important role in transforming the community of Palm Springs into a bustling gay destination, known for its inclusion, community building, and decadence.

Sadly, Jeffrey Sanker passed away in May 2021; however, his legacy lives on through the continuation of the new White Party Global event series.
