The summer season and music concerts are a classic tandem that have been sorely missed the last couple of years due to a global pandemic, and the LGBTQ+ community has always rallied around great artists that resonate with them. Gay people are excited to be returning to live events, and Vancouver is one of the most engaging LGBTQ+ friendly destinations in the world. This combination of celebration and congregation provide the perfect backdrop for the upcoming Ambleside Music Festival. The inaugural three-day event runs between August 12-14th in West Vancouver and will welcome thousands of visitors traveling there to enjoy the striking waterfront views, majestic mountains, and enjoy open-air concerts across a weekend.

LGBTQ+ musicians have always been at the forefront of breaking down barriers, and today’s latest up-and-coming musical acts have new issues to dissect and disseminate for a new generation. The queer community is ready to curate a new crop of pioneer musicians aligned with the modern liberation movement.

Ambleside Presents an Eclectic Roster of Artists

This year’s headliners will include The Offspring, Mother Mother, Marianas Trench and Walk Off The Earth followed by an exciting line-up of music acts such as Charlotte Cardin, Grandson, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Jon and Roy, Ria Mae, Tokyo Police Club, Scott Helman, Valley, Hannah Georgas, The Blue Stones and Virginia To Vegas while also featuring Aiden Ayers, Cartel Madras, The Harpoonist & The Axe Murderer, Jesse Roper, Texas King, The Darcys, Little Destroyer and Tim Atlas, and more!

Visitors to Ambleside will have two separate stages for the curated line-up, with VIP packages, premium food and beverage vendors operating under the Vancouver heat. With such an expansive range of artists performing, guests will have an impressive list to choose from during their weekend, with many projected to impact the community for years to come.
