Don’t be a Grinch this holiday season – show your friends, family, and colleagues that you care by sending a beautiful holiday card.

Christmas cards have been a tradition ever since that really exploded with the outbreak of World War II. Sending Christmas cards continues to be a common tradition, even today.

In an era when everything is done digitally and online, the act of sending your friends and loved one’s warm wishes at Christmas has survived. The reality is that emails and texts are impersonal, and often sent as an after-thought.

Christmas cards, on the other hand, lets someone know you authentically care about them and that you think about them throughout the year.

Here are some great tips for sending cards this holiday season:

1. Collect addresses throughout the year and check that the addresses are still current: Ensure that your recipient still lives at their own address, or if they moved recently, make sure they have updated contact information available to them before sending them a card.

2. For pre-printed cards, go with a premium card: In this case, go for one that features extra decoration, higher quality card stock, and a matching envelope—it might seem like an unnecessary step but it will make all the difference in making sure your loved ones receive their cards without any mishaps happening during delivery.

3.Use mailing labels if you don’t have easy-to-read handwriting: Mailing labels come in handy when you’re sending a card, but they can be hard to read, especially if the recipient has bad handwriting. If this is the case, consider using a mailing label instead of writing your own note or holiday greeting

4. Include a handwritten note or holiday greeting: Your loved ones will be touched you took the time and energy to put together a thoughtful gift that shows how much you care about them. Make sure it’s not just another generic “Hello” or “Happy Holidays.” Put a little bit of thought into it—think about what your recipient would really appreciate and what they might find funny or cute. Cheesy, silly Christmas-themed poems are highly encouraged!

And after all is said and done, ensure that their Christmas spirit is still shining brightly. With a Grinch cocktail, you can do just that. It’s the perfect way to show them how much they mean to you.
