There’s nothing better than a hot cup of coffee in the morning. Even though most gays tend to run on nothing but iced coffee and a dream, it’s nice to cozy up to something warm. The days get shorter, the nights are long, and lately the winters have been getting colder and colder. It’s a good time to slow down, reflect on the year that’s passed, and set new goals and intentions for the next one.
With the year beginning on a Sunday, it’s the ideal quiet and cozy start to the new year. The last few years have felt exceptionally turbulent, especially for the LGBTQ+ community. It’s nice to reel it back a bit and spend some time with our friends and loved ones. Then we can look forward to making this world a better place for our friends and community. Whether it’s through activism, community projects, or even something as simple as showing support to those around you when times are rough. Many people make finally coming out one of their goals for the year, and it’s crucial that they are given the support they need.
Coffee is a love language and can bring people together. It’s celebrated in many different cultures and prepared in a myriad of ways. Whether it’s for brunch, a business meeting, or a quick coffee date with that cute guy down the hall, it’s always there to provide comfort and a pick-me-up. If you’re looking for a mixed drink that will keep you warm and perk you up, this is the cocktail for you. Mix this up for the coffee lover in your life!
Here’s how to make this warm, creamy drink:

1 oz Irish cream liqueur
