The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) is proud to announce the launch of Rainbow Spring, a program designed to provide LGBTQ+ visitors with unique programming and promotional offers in Miami and Miami Beach this spring. The program, which starts in March, is aimed at leading up to Pride Month in June and providing a diverse and colorful experience for the LGBTQ+ community.

“LGBTQ+ visitors are year-round travelers and should be informed about Miami and Miami Beach events beyond Pride Month,” said Dan Rios, GMCVB’s Director of LGBTQ+ Marketing. “Miami and Miami Beach is a top destination for LGBTQ+ travelers – we offer diverse experiences that draw in all members of the LGBTQ+ community so they feel seen and represented when they visit.”

Rainbow Spring will feature a wide range of events, including the Winter Party Festival, Miami Beach Pride, Out in the Tropics’ LatinXOXO, OUTshine LGBTQ+ Film Festival, and SweetHeat. The program will culminate with the Wynwood Pride, Miami Marlins’ Pride at the Park, and the No Fear, We’re Queer Comedy Festival. Miami Beach’s two LGBTQ+ hotels, AxelBeach Miami and Hotel Gaythering, will also be participating, offering events such as karaoke, trivia night, bingo, martini night, and sports events.

The program’s website, RainbowSpring.com, will be the portal to all things LGBTQ+ and will feature special offers from exclusive discounts at hotels and attractions to deals at restaurants. Visitors can also find more information on Miami and Miami Beach at www.MiamiandMiamiBeach.com.

“We want to create an environment where everyone feels welcome and celebrated,” said GMCVB spokesperson, Melina Martinez. “Rainbow Spring is a way for us to bring the community together and to showcase the talents and contributions of the LGBTQ+ community in Miami.”

In addition to the Rainbow Spring program, Miami and Miami Beach offer a vibrant and welcoming community for LGBTQ+ travelers. The South Beach district is the heart of the LGBTQ+ scene and the city is home to diverse neighborhoods that will make LGBTQ+ visitors of all ages feel comfortable. From art to entertainment and attractions, there are many exciting options for LGBTQ+ families visiting Miami. LGBTQ+ adventure seekers have much to explore, from Everglades National Park and Biscayne National Park to beautiful local and state parks where you can hike, bike, and explore.

Whether you’re a local or a visitor, come and experience the colors of diversity with Rainbow Spring. Plan your trip to Miami and Miami Beach with the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau and make lasting memories that you’ll cherish forever.
