Take a trip to old New Orleans without even leaving the house! You can feel like you’ve ventured to the Crescent City with every sip of the cocktail: Cajun Lemonade. This delicious drink packs a punch of sweet spice with every sip, just like the Big Easy.
The Cajun lemonade is like the fourth of July: fireworks in your mouth with an exciting explosion. Made with white rum and Pimm’s No. 1, the Cajun Lemonade is a bit of Southern Decadence, with a tabasco dash on top for a firecracker finish.
While normal lemonade is a staple of the warmer months, make your lemonade a little rowdier, a little wilder, and a lot more fun: just like New Orleans. Shake up your summer time soirees by making the Cajun Lemonade and enjoy a bit of Louisiana.
What you’ll need:
- 1 ½ oz white rum
- ½ oz Pimm’s No. 1
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
- ½ oz simple syrup
- Dash Tabasco
- 1 oz chilled 7-Up
Combine white rum, Pimm’s No. 1, lemon juice, simple syrup, and tobacco into an ice-filled shaker. Shake and strain into a tall glass filled with fresh ice. Top with 7-Up. Garnish with a lemon wheel.
Enjoy and drink responsibly.
