Tea. It has a nice comforting ring to it. A warm, fuzzy feeling, curled up indoors as the rain drizzles outside. This year has been strange. Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, most of us have been living under a variety of measures and rules to help keep us and our communities safe. This cocktail may just be what you need for comfort. Easy enough on the palette, and an energy booster when you need it.
Tea aside, the Earl Grey Tea Cocktail has some serious booze in it. Combined, the ingredients make up a stunningly refreshing yet comforting cocktail. It has a very mild flavor, a lot like regular tea with a dash of alcohol, lemons, and lavender flavors.
As you enjoy your fall comforts such as catching up on gay fall TV, clearing out closets, building puzzles, bake-offs, or doing your daily home workouts, the Earl Grey Tea Cocktail is your perfect companion, providing the buzz to power through.
- 2 oz prepared, cold Earl Grey tea
- 1 ¼ oz gin
- ½ oz fresh lemon juice
- 1 ¼ oz lavender syrup
Add all ingredients to a shaker filled with ice. Shake—strain into a glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with lavender.
