Easter Basket CocktailDon’t put all your eggs in one basket, unless it is the Easter Basket Cocktail, of course! While the kids are out in the yard hunting the colorful symbols of Easter for their chocolate treasures, round up the adults for a little Easter time delight for the grownups.

You too can have your own Easter Basket— The Easter Basket Cocktail, that is. You won’t need a bunny, chocolates, or peeps when you sip on and enjoy The Easter Basket cocktail. Like a fruit parfait in a glass, the Easter Basket Cocktail is made with real fruit mixed, giving it a fresh taste.

Don’t let the Easter holiday be just about the kids anymore. Make Easter a little bit lit with the Easter Basket Cocktail!

What you’ll need:

  • 12 oz frozen raspberries
  • ½ cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/8 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • Sparkling wine

In a medium saucepan add raspberries and strawberries. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. Add sugar and honey. Stir mixture for another 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool. Puree cooled berries and then strain through fine sieve into a bowl. Discard berry pulp. Stir in vanilla extract. Pour berry mix into ice cube trays and freeze for a minimum of 4 hours.

When ready to serve, place two ice cubes into a flute glass and top with sparkling wine.

Enjoy and drink responsibly.
