Is there any better fall flavor than a good Scotch Whiskey? Deep and smooth it blends perfectly with the more solemn colors and light of this time of the year. Spice up what is possibly one of the dullest months of the year with this spicy little number. With the kick of ginger, the sophistication of scotch, the sweet surprise of the marmalade and the bitter lime to cut through all the flavors, this drink is quirky, interesting and makes for a refreshing change from the classic cocktail combinations.
- 2 oz Scottish whiskey
- ½ oz Fresh lime juice
- 1 tsp Fresh grated ginger
- 2 tsp Marmalade
Muddle lime juice, ginger, and marmalade in the bottom of a mixing glass. Add a cup of ice and Scottish whiskey. Shake for 20 seconds, until the shaker begins to frost. Strain into an old fashioned glass with fresh ice. Garnish with a fresh orange slice.
