White Party Palm Springs is next weekend, and we all know what that means: Palm Springs is just one week away! What better drink to set the mood for the three-day extravaganza than a Palm Springs Paloma? This cocktail will help set the tone for what to expect when you get there.
The first sip has a cool minty freshness that will help you forget all about those hot days spent on crowded beaches and help you imagine yourself at a private pool wearing nothing but white Speedos and being served by shirtless men.
The second sip is where the real fun starts. This is the part where you start getting visions of sweaty guys with perfect abs dancing on platforms while a DJ spins the latest in-house music.
Finally, when you reach the bottom of your glass, what had started as a dream will become a reality. But with one last sip of tequila and agave syrup, you’ll be ready to head out into the desert to party until dawn with your boys and more shirtless men than you can shake an empty martini glass at.
Ingredients
- ½ oz agave syrup
- 2 oz tequila blanco
- ½ oz fresh lemon juice
- Ruby Red grapefruit juice
Shake agave syrup, tequila, and lemon juice with ice. Strain into a salt-rimmed highball glass filled with fresh ice. Top with grapefruit juice. Garnish with a fresh slice of grapefruit.
