Things are heating up in the desert this fall with the return of the 31st annual Palm Springs Pride. One of the last Pride celebrations of the season, the Desert City knows how to end the year with a bang, full of fabulous events, beautiful weather, an amazing festival, and one of the most scenic parades in the United States. Join Palm Springs Pride, October 31 – November 5, 2017, and Vida La Vida! Here are the key events going on for Palm Springs Pride weekend you need to know about right now.

Friday, November 3:

Pride weekend begins with a bang as the Viva la Vida Street Party takes over Downtown Palm Springs. This free, outdoor dance party will feature sets by Miss Rusty Waters and Ladies of Risqué, Iconique, and DJ Jen DM. Things get a little turnt later on in the evening as the night activities move to CCBC resort, the largest clothing optional gay men’s resort in the United States. $25 gets you in for a fun night activities, including a cocktail and Hors d’oeuvre hour from 6pm-8pm, karaoke from 8:00-10:00pm, hot go-go boys from 11:00pm-1:00am, and the After-Hours Party from 10:00pm – 4:00am, with DJs spinning sets all evening long.

Saturday, November 4:

Saturday kicks off with the hottest pool party under the sun. Viva la Vida Pool Party is an all-day event held at CCBC from 10:00am-10:00pm, November 4. This outrageous pool party is $30 for admission and will include food, a Drag Show, Mr. CCBC Pride 2017 contest, Turkish oil wrestling, a foam party, a live performance by Keisha D, and hot go-go boys to provide you with a fun pride Saturday. CCBC will also be hosting the after-hours party from 10pm-4am featuring dancing, music, and more hot muscle go-go boys under the stars.

Sunday, November 5:

Sunday is action packed with events starting with three different pre-parade brunches. The VIP Pre-Parade Breakfast, between 8am-9:45am will be at the El Mirador Tower Building at the Desert Regional Medical Center. Eight4Nine will be hosting a boozy brunch with champagne and parade viewing party from 9:00am-1:30pm. Dish Creative Cuisine will host its annual Pride Parade Party from 9:30am-1:30pm on the terrace balcony above the restaurant. Featuring a buffet, champagne, and bottomless mimosas. All three have proceeds benefitting Palm Springs Pride.

The 31st annual Palm Springs Pride Parade begins at 10:00am in downtown Palm Springs and is a free event for everyone. Usually viewed by more than 60,000 people, Palm Springs Pride Parade is one of the most vibrant in the nation with arguably the best backdrop in the world. National Grand Marshall will be retired United States Navy SEAL Kristin Beck. Fitness guru and husband/hairstylist to the stars Craig Ramsay and Brandon Liberati will be celebrity Grand Marshalls. Palm Spring’s own restaurateur/singer/entertainer/Purple Room owner, Michael Holmes, has been named community Grand Marshall.

Sunday will include another pool party thrown at CCBC. From 10:00am-7:00pm, the Relaxing Pool Party will be a great way to enjoy some sun while winding down from the weekend’s festivities. Surprise drinks will be served poolside and tickets for this event will be $25.

Of course, no Pride weekend is ever complete without the Pride festival. Palm Springs Pride offers two days of a pedestrian-friendly festival. Palm Springs Pride Festival will feature 150+ exhibitors, including artists, jewelers, food, snacks, bars, an outdoor beverage lounge, entertainers, food trucks, STD testing, a children’s play/safe space with games and crafts, and much more. Admission to Palm Springs Pride is free, though donations are welcome.
