RuPaul's Drag Race Battle of the SeasonsIt’s going to be one of the most outrageous drag shows Vancouver has ever seen. Live Nation, TFD Presents and OUTtv are proudly bringing RuPaul’s Drag Race: Battle of the Seasons to the Commodore Ballroom on January 10, 2014. This is going to be one amazing show not to be missed.

The one-night special event will feature six amazingly talented and fabulous performers from the hit TV show; Jinkx Monsoon, Manila Luzon, Ivy Winters, Carmen Carrera, Willam Belli and Pandora Boxx.

“I’m really excited to be back in Vancouver, it’s so lovely and the fans are great,” said Manila Luzon, who will be coming to Vancouver for the Battle of the Seasons showcase event. “It’s my fourth time I think, and I’ve made some friends in Vancouver, I’m excited to see them again!”

The Battle of the Seasons Tour is different from a typical drag show seen in most nightclubs.

“There are several of us Drag Race queens and we’re in a big theater,” explains Manila. “You know we are all bringing our A-game. We will be trying our hardest to out do each other, which makes for an awesome show!”

Manila remains tight lipped on the show and any surprises in-store, “Well if I say it won’t be much of a surprise. And for sure won’t be a surprise when we try to do the exact same numbers the next show in Toronto!”

Manila Luzon Bring It

Recently, Manila Luzon and Jinkx Monsoon released a new song and music video, Bring It, which Manila says they will be performing in Vancouver at the Battle of the Seasons. “I’m for sure dragging Jinkx onstage to rap her verse of “Bring It”! Separately, we have crazy busy schedules, so it’s going to be a treat to be on tour together.”

To meet Manila Luzon, Jinkx Monsoon, and the other RuPaul Drag Race performers face-to-face, purchase a VIP ticket. There will be a one-hour meet-and-greet where all VIP ticket holders will get to mix, mingle, take photos, and talk with each one of the performers.

General admission tickets for RuPaul’s Drag Race: Battle of the Seasons in Vancouver are on sale now for $30. VIP tickets are $75 and are already 50% sold out! Tickets are on sale through TicketMaster and at Little Sisters Bookstore in downtown Vancouver.

“The Battle of the Seasons show is a great collection of some of your favorite queens,” explains Manila Luzon. “It’s not a gay night club, so the audiences are very different from our usual gigs in night clubs. We have fans of all kinds and all ages. Families who love watching the show together come, wives will drag their husbands to the show, and husbands will drag their husbands to the show. It’s a totally amazing crowd and we queens LOVE performing for new audiences!”
