Autumn is perfect for outdoor activities. It’s neither too hot nor too cold—just the right temperature and vibe for fun activities in the fresh air. After the year we’ve had, time in the great outdoors is much welcome. Safely, of course. Follow all the health guidelines as you frolic in the meadows, forests, and fields.
So, what can you do? Rent a cabin in the mountains and shut out the noisy world for a while.
Closer to home, get lost in a corn maze or visit a pumpkin patch. The fresh air and breath of sunshine might just be what you need to process this strange year.
You still have lots to do outdoors during fall. For example, split wood (“Winter is Coming” – Oh John Snow, how we miss your husky voice and ravishing looks). Play some backyard football, hike or drive and see some magnificent fall foliage, host a small physically distanced backyard bonfire. Collect fall leaves. Fix your fireplace as you enjoy a warming S’mores Campfire Cocktail. It has milk!
Ingredients
- 2 oz Stoli Vanil
- 2 oz milk
- 1 oz Irish cream
- 1 tbsp hot chocolate powder
Dip the rim of a cocktail glass in chocolate syrup, then dip into graham cracker crumbs—place in the freezer. Add ingredients to a shaker filled with ice. Shake—strain into prepared glass. Garnish with toasted marshmallow.
