While you’re thinking about where to plan/take your next holiday, escape into a taste of Brazil’s (and perhaps the world’s) most famous beach with the Copacabana Banger.
An Americanized twist on a classic Braziliano beverage: the Caipirinha, the Copacabana Banger is an exotic tasting cocktail made from Brazil’s main liquor: Cachaça, but features a bit of Hawaiian pineapple juice for an extra tropical tasting finish. Your taste buds will explode with the delicious taste of mint and lime combined with a bit of sugar.
One minute, you’ll be dreaming of your next vacation. The next minute, you’ll be sipping on the Copacabana Banger and envisioning you’re already there.
- 1 oz cachaça
- 1 small, sliced lime
- 4 mint leaves
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 oz pineapple juice
Muddle lime, mint, and sugar in the bottom of a shaker. Fill with ice. Add cachaça and pineapple juice. Shake. Pour into a rocks glass. Garnish with a strawberry and fresh mint sprig.
