Happy Pride! Today marks 50 years since Stonewall Uprising in New York City that lead to the founding of the modern-day LGBT rights movement and gay prides around the world. New York City, as a result, is hosting Stonewall 50, New York City Pride, and WorldPride: all in one insanely fun weekend.
To celebrate Pride season and the near finale of an epic pride month, we have created a cocktail to help you get into the rainbow season. The WorldPride Cocktail is a pride themed adult beverage made with nearly all colors of the rainbow. You’ll be announcing to the world that you are out, proud, and loving life with the WorldPride Cocktail.
If you haven’t already, celebrate the LGBT movement that has paved the way for so many queer people to live out, proud lives. Cheers to the advocates, allies, volunteers, and millions of people every day living their true, authentically queer lives. The WorldPride Cocktail is a great way to celebrate and commemorate the reason we have pride in the first place.
- 1 oz Stoli Premium Vodka
- 1 oz grenadine
- ½ oz peach schnapps
- 1 ½ oz pineapple juice
- ½ oz blue curaçao
Pour grenadine into the base of a glass. Spoon in some ice cubes.
In a shaker glass with ice, combine peach schnapps and pineapple juice. Shake well. Slowly pour over grenadine.
In a different shaker glass, combine Stoli Premium Vodka and blue curaçao. Shake well. Carefully layer on top.
Garnish with an orange slice and a cherry.
